Muskoka Furniture grew out of an 
experiment, a 'leap of faith' in 1991. Since then, the business has evolved according to customer demand and opportunity in the market place. But some things have remained constant. Muskoka Furniture is owned and staffed by people

The long road that began years ago has led to a showroom packed with the workmanship of craftsmen from Muskoka and across Canada featuring traditional Mennonite furniture collections and other fine pieces. It is an exciting place that offers heirlooms for the future with designs from the past and where the customer feels at home.

Muskoka Furniture has a strong
philosophy when it comes to serving its clients. "Our approach is friendly, helpful and most importantly; honest," says owner Todd Jones. "We are sincere and we believe in the service that we provide."
Jones explains that many retail stores deal on commission and their employees are under tremendous amounts of pressure to sell.
"I feel that makes for an unhealthy atmosphere," says Jones. "Here at Muskoka Furniture we have a more relaxed atmosphere and we are proud of our product which makes it a perfect venue to deal with the consumer. Everyone is part of an important team and we all have a stake in making sure the customer is happy."
A big draw for the store is the fact that the pine furniture is crafted locally and in other parts of Ontario with an increasing emphasis on Mennonite pieces. "There is something for every taste and budget", says store manager Margaret Taylor. "We have a high end premium collection and a budget conscious pine collection that also carries with it high quality."
